The MAXTRAX FUSE Shackle is designed to be the the sacrificial weakest link in the comprehensiveMAXTRAX Recovery System, and should exclusively be used with this system. Whereas the MAXTRAX Core Shackle is designed for general use, the FUSE Shackle features a lower and highly precise Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) of 15,432 lbs (7000 kg) as to prevent damage to recovery points and recovery straps which may bear a lower MBS than a traditional soft shackle.
